Kathryn was raised in Tariffville, CT. She graduated with a B.S. in Biology from Keene State College (where she met Ryan!) and has been working for the past 6 years in a pharmaceutical manufacturing and chemistry lab.
Kathryn's Interests: photography, riding horses with mom, camping on the boat with Ryan, being cozy inside during snow storms, and hanging out at beach. |

Ryan was born and raised in Glastonbury, CT. He graduated from Keene State College with a B.S. in Computer Science and since then, he has been working in IT and running his own website business, www.CTechNow.com.
Ryan's Interests: Boating, softball, hanging out in the ManCave, snowboarding, boating, wakeboarding, gokarting around the yard, boating to Watch Hill with Kat. |

| WHAT IS THE FIRST THING YOU NOTICED ABOUT EACH OTHER? |

| K: His eyes and his smile, hands down! I've always told him that, too! He also has a really contageous laugh! |

R: Her green eyes and the way they looked back at me from across the room. I was drawn to her from the moment that our eyes met! |

WHEN DID YOU KNOW EACH OTHER WAS "THE ONE"?

| K: It was definitely in college (yea, it was THAT long ago!), when I was sick as a dog. My roommates wouldn't even come near me, but he showed up with two Reece's Pieces Sundaes. He sat right next to me as we ate and watched a movie. He always knows how to cheer me up and make me feel better, no matter what the situation! |

R: It was much sooner than I expected so I'd have to say that it was when she started showing interest in everthing that I liked. She wanted to take snowboarding lessons the first year that we met. I think it was so she could go with me! |

ONE WORD TO DESCRIBE YOUR PROPOSAL, AND WHY...

| K: "WHAT!?" I like to think I'm the kind of person that catches on to sneaky plans and secrets. I even thought on the car ride to the Ocean House, how perfectly concealed a ring box would be in his shorts pocket. But I abaondoned the idea, thinking he wouldn't DARE keep it that close to me. But he completely caught me off guard, and I'm so glad!!! |

R: PERFECT. I had a lot of time to think this one through so I can honestly say that it went just how I imagined it. I always knew it would be at one of our favorite places, Watch Hill! |

WHAT IS ONE SONG THAT REMINDS YOU OF EACH OTHER?

| K: Smooth Operator by Sade. I forget why, but it just became a running joke, he's a very pursuasive person. He could sell ice to an Eskimo in the dead of winter! |

R: Gavin Degraw - Follow Through. We unexpectedly ended up at a Gavin Degraw concert in college. Most of my time there was spent with her. |

WHAT IS ONE QUALITY YOU HOPE YOUR FUTURE CHILDREN INHERIT FROM EACH OTHER?

| K: Definitely his ambition. Whether it's signing new clients, remodeling the house, or planning a vacation, he puts his full attention to the task and gets it done! |

R: Good looks, smart, funny, talented and never willing to turn down a challenge. |

| K: The moment I put that dress on!!! And the look on his face when we see each other for the first time (he always has epic reactions to surprises!). And the cake, definitely the CAKE!! |
