It was a Thursday in September when Ryan suggested we get dinner at the Ocean House in Watch Hill on the upcoming weekend. It wasn't unusual for us to have lunch there during one of our camping trips. But DINNER would be a real treat, so of course I happily agreed!!
That Saturday, we headed down to Westerly, RI to spend some time at the Boater's Beach before dinner. It was around noon, the sky was overcast and there were occasional spots of rain, but by the time we got to the beach, the sun was out with nothing but blue skies!
We took a walk up to the Ocean House to check out the view, and use their REALLY nice bathrooms! Before leaving, Ry suggested we walk through one of their little gardens overlooking the ocean. Little did I know, Ry had an employee ready and waiting with a camera.
Very few people can say that they have photos of their proposal. I'm so glad we have them, because I think a picture is DEFINITELY worth a thousand words. . . |
